Introduction:
For many members, competitive events are the highlight of FBLA/FBLA-ML. Regardless of what you’re interested in, there will be an event that interests you: events range from objective tests such as Economics to presentation events such as Public Speaking and Introduction to Social Media Strategy to chapter events such as the American Enterprise Project. FBLA offers 70+ events, and FBLA-ML offers 16 events. There are individual and team events - further separated into objective tests, performance events, and chapter projects - meaning you can either compete individually or with your friends!

- Objective Testing: Objective Tests consist of 100 multiple choice questions with 60 minutes (an hour) allowed to complete the test. Your score will be the total number of questions answered correctly; there is no penalty for incorrect answers, so if you aren’t sure, take your best guess!
- Tiebreakers
- In the case that there is a tie, the member involved in the tiebreaker who gets more questions out of the last ten correct wins the tiebreaker.
- If the last ten questions still don’t solve the tie, then whoever completed the test in less time wins the tiebreaker.
- Note: make sure that you balance your time properly while taking the test: your goal should be to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy!
