FBLA Distinguished business leader
About
This scholarship is designed to recognize outstanding FBLA members for their activity and involvement in the association. The number of scholarships given depends on yearly contributions to the FBLA scholarship fund. Minimum of $500; half will be awarded at the NLC and the other half upon joining Phi Beta Lambda.
eligibility
Graduating FBLA members who plan to pursue a post-secondary education and become actively involved in FBLA colligate at the postsecondary level.
Application procedure
- Must have dues-paid member of FBLA by March 1st.
- Must have achieved the either the Advocate or Capstone level of the Business Achievement Awards (BAA) program.
- Must submit Distinguished Business Leader Interactive Scholarship Form (link is below).
- The completed form and a one-page cover letter summarizing FBLA-PBL, business, leadership, and community activities, a resume outlining FBLA-PBL activities and educational achievements, and one letter of recommendation from a chapter adviser, a teacher, or a business/community leader must be submitted to the national center.
- Deadline April 15th.

FBLA members are eligible for JWU scholarships up to full tuition. Complete an application to JWU and indicate FBLA membership to be automatically considered for our National Student Organizations scholarship program.

About
NTHS awards over a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships to its members annually and has been the acknowledged leader in recognizing outstanding student achievement in CTE programs across the country for over 30 years.

Applicants must be in 10th grade or higher and must be current NTHS member.
Application procedure
- A fully completed application must be submitted by the deadline date or forfeit eligibility.
- Scholarship monies are held up to three (3) years to be used for post-secondary education.

About
The FBLA BUSINESS THROUGH EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP is a one-year scholarship program. The scholarship will be paid as reimbursement of tuition toward an undergraduate Business program in the state of Florida. Applicants' packets must be postmarked by the date specified in the State Leadership Conference registration packet.
Eligibility
- High School Senior
- Member of Florida FBLA for a minimum of two years
- Top 20 percent of graduating class (be sure that your transcript shows class rank)
- Full time Florida Resident
Application Procedure
Please attach and send the following:
- A cover page stating name, social security number, birth date, address, phone, high school, and adviser’s name.
- Two letters of recommendation: one from a peer in Florida FBLA and one from a teacher, administrator, counselor, or employer.
- An essay, of no more than 500 words, describing FBLA and its effect on your development and education.
- An autobiographical essay, creatively done, of no more than 500 words.
- An official transcript that must include ACT or SAT scores and class rank.
- A resume including FBLA awards, offices, and achievements (limit of 2 pages).
